New Year's Reflections and Checklist

As I wrote in my blog last year, I don’t think January is the best time of year to make huge changes.  Like all things in our climate, we are in the midst of winter, and need time to rest, reflect, and recharge. So for me New Year is a time to think about what I would like to put energy into in the coming months.  It is a signpost for reflection.

If you have done energy work with me, you know that I give my clients a check list with suggestions to support their energetic goals.  In January, I write one for myself.  You can see my list from last year here and past reflections on New Years Resolutions here.

Emelie’s New Year’s Commitments – Practices to give energy to in 2023

1)     Take time each month to process and journal about the ‘soul’s reading’ I received this spring from a fellow healer/intuitive.  (there is a lot to process in her reading!)

2)    During the winter months, choose a crystal to work with, and to take notes on it. Share that information with clients/customers.

3)    Consider ways in which to further incorporate Sound Healing into my practice as a healer, and as a mother.

4)    Continue to work with the Moon and her energy.  Host at least one full moon gathering this year. (This study has brought so many fruits to my life!)

5)    Choose one practice weekly to connect with intuition. Take notes for later reflection.

6)    Consider if this is the right year to take on another educational opportunity.  (Last year I completed my Sound Healing Certification.)

I would love to hear about what you are spending energy on this year!

Each year I also choose a word for the year. You can read about some of my past words here. This year my word is ‘wellness’. I am going to be thinking about the word, and what it means. I am also going to be reflecting on activities, habits, and routines in the context of wellness. Do you pick a word for each year? I’d love to hear about it!

However you approach the New Year, I wish you all the blessings and growth that you deserve!

In Friendship,

Emelie
